Our philosophy
Our philosophy is simple.
As experienced professional videographers, our focus is always to provide you with top quality service and a finished product second to none.
We love technology and use state of the art equipment. We can shoot your video in either standard or high definition and will duplicate DVDs in a format that's compatible with DVD players internationally.

Our team
Paul Tuffery - the original Video Guy
Paul is our main Video Guy.
With over 30 years' experience as a videographer, both throughout New Zealand and overseas, Paul believes that making videos is storytelling in its simplest form.
In addition to working extensively in New Zealand, internationally Paul has filmed and edited a number of high profile Science & Spirituality Conferences for The Bhaktivedanta Institute in Calcutta, San Francisco and Rome.
His diverse experience has seen him shooting videos in some most unusual places (such as caves and helicopters) and with some very interesting people (such as the inventor of the Laser, Professor Charles Townes, many prominent scientists, Ph.D.'s, Nobel Laureates and religious authorities).
From Hanmer, to Akaroa, Auckland or even Fiji, Paul will be happy to travel to just about anywhere you need him to be.
Paul is also a great collaborator. Over the years he has teamed up very successfully with many of Christchurch's top award winning professional photographers including, Kevin Clarke, Johannes Van Kan & Jo Grams, Frank Visser, Tony Stewart, Todd Flygenring, Kurt Langer, Ryl Jensen, Shar Devine, Jacky de Boer and Bryan Isbister.
Anita Boon
With extensive experience in both filming and editing, Anita has produced a huge quantity of video resources for van Asch Deaf Education Centre over a span of eight years.
Nitai Lexa
With experience in filming, editing and 3D animation, Nitai has been working with The Video Guys team since March 2008
He has a BMA (Bachelor of Media Arts) majoring in moving image, after graduating from Waikato Institute of Technology in 2006.
His degree includes papers in direction, scriptwriting, camera operation, lighting, sound recording, editing and post production. Nitai also took elective papers in 3D animation and motion graphics.
